Sandwich vs Hunger
Buying aN 8-colour screen printed T-shirt of our happy sandwich dude will help feed malnourished children around the world.
With the hope of raising some money for Action Against Hunger and the lifesaving work they do across nearly 50 countries, we've teamed up with Print Social to create a 21 day-long campaign to sell as many happy sandwich T-shirts and sweatshirts as we can – with 100% OF PROFITS going directly to the charity.
Once the 21 days are up, all T-shirts and sweats purchased will be professionally hand screen printed here in London and can be shipped via a fully tracked service.
Even if you don't want a T-shirt, we would very much appreciate your help with promoting the campaign. If you could forward THIS URL to everyone you know or simply retweet our tweets about it and all that stuff that would be amazing. And do consider making a donation to the charity anyway – no donation too small! Thank you 🙏
ACTION AGAINST HUNGER
For almost 40 years, across dozens of countries, Action Against Hunger has been leading the global fight against hunger by carrying out lifesaving programmes in nutrition, food security, water, sanitation and hygiene. The charity saves the lives of malnourished children and works with their communities before and after disasters strike to ensure everyone can access clean water, food training and healthcare. Action Against Hunger enables people to provide for themselves and build prosperous communities free from hunger.
For this project, we've chosen to use EarthPositive® T-shirts (100% combed organic cotton 4oz) and high quality sweatshirts (80% combed cotton, 20% polyester 3ply 9oz) manufactured by the Continental Clothing Co – the first company in the world to calculate the carbon footprint of its products (back in 2008). The carbon footprint of EarthPositive® products has been reduced by around 90% through a combination of innovative product design, low impact organic agriculture, efficiency of manufacturing and by replacing standard grid electricity with renewable wind power. Their footprint calculations are certified by Carbon Trust Certifications in the UK. Having reduced its greenhouse gas emissions to pre-industrial levels, EarthPositive® products carry the registered mark “Climate Neutral.”
Continental Clothing Co has been running pro-active social responsibility programme as a member of the Fair Wear Foundation since early 2006. The company is committed to the following policies: no use of child labour; no use of forced labour; safe and healthy working conditions; legal labour contracts; payment of living wage; freedom; no discrimination against employees and; no excessive work hours. Amen to all of that.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Based in East London, Rob Flowers spends most of his time either creating illustrations influenced by some of his favourite things, or searching for “junk” to add to his growing collection of assorted miscellany – which includes pretty much anything to do with medieval bestiaries, Halloween, folklore and mythology, anything clown-related, sideshow and circus stuff and 80s gross-out toys.
His growing number of clients includes The British Museum, House of Holland, Burgerac's Burgershack, Terry de Havilland, The Museum of Witchcraft & Magic, BBC Radio One, Nike, Children in Need, Creative Review, MTV and Google – to name but a few.
