#LunchtimeListens 007: Roger Clapham

Roger Clapham is one of the three vinyl-loving Walthamstow-based amigos that DJ under the Eastern Front Soundsystem banner. We met Roger, Simon and Matt at one of their regular sessions at Walthamstow's Wild Card Brewery HQ which proved beyond doubt that they CAN organise a (ruddy good) piss up in a brewery. The trio (who also play regularly at former Burgerac's Burgershack HQ, The Royal Oak in Marylebone and have played at various festivals including Glastonbury) describe themselves as "vinyl obsessives, disco enthusiasts and habitual drinkers one and all," and summarise their sound as "a mixture of balearic gear, dusty old soul 45s, world stuff, the odd house record, and a healthy dose of weapons-grade disco." Sounds good to us!
